Our current predicament isn't on Bloomfield

Aside from Richards he picked the only 18 players he had at his disposal that weren't either injured or suspended - and possibly off in Woodrow's case. He then probably picked the starting XI most of us would.

Those that say they would like to see a back four. who are the full backs? If Nige plays RB does Naismith play LB because he surely can't play as a CB in a two - or would you drop our captain for Bramall? It's a mess.

He has been handed an utter recruitment shit show to sort out - an unbalanced squad with a lot of players that probably want out but are too unfit and are on huge wages.

I hope he turns it around but he needs backing.

The manager has to set up a system with what he has. You can’t play 3 at the back with McGuinness on the right.

Forget about the system, the fight wasn’t there, that’s why we lost.. That’s on the manager.

        Yep.

All this “it’s not his fault” is bollox.

He has had 9 months to gel this team and we have got even worse so far this season.

It’s not bollocks unfortunately and he hasn’t had 9 months to gel this team, especially considering the high squad turnover during the summer. Today’s selection didn’t work, however as has been pointed out, Bradford outfought us in duels too often and this is something that needs to be rectified starting with Wigan on Tuesday.

            We have had 3 games.

Despite the wins it’s been dreadful.

Early days but I’m not warming to him at all and I’m not alone.

Which of his ten new recruits have stood out for you?

I think Wells is an astute signing plus Keeley as well. As for new recruits standing out.

We are 3 league games in and some of them are lacking match sharpness or have been required to play out of position. Too early to say any of them standing out at this moment.

Just to play devil’s advocate a little, what would you expect to see for you (and others) to warm to Bloomfield?

                A style of play.
                Fluency.
                Aggression.

All I have seen so far is turgid crap.

Today was a big step backwards and it reminded me of Edwards. Ie keystone cops.

He even admitted they wanted it more, that’s on him.

                  Some good points there.

We will see how the next couple of home games play out and if the desire, aggression and fluency can upped sufficiently enough to get quality performances and results…

                    Yes let’s hope so.

It’s depressing stuff at the minute.

A couple of wins and hopefully a couple of decent incomings would help.

One thing I cant work out with recruitment, surely you have different tiers of targets?

So, for LWB, you might have 1st choice, 2nd choice 3rd choice, 4th choice etc?

Are we really saying we can't get any of our targets whatsoever? If so, who is doing the background checks? Surely someone has a chat with their agent etc and finds out if they're attainable and affordable? 92 professional clubs and we can't identify any fucking left back in professional football to sign?

Can Jay not refresh his spreadsheets FFS?

It's all very fucking weird. And borderline dysfunctional to be honest. It's clearly not working. So how does it change?

How about playing our actual only left wing back in that position from the start? How about playing our only right wing back in that position from the start? How about playing Fanne in his proper position? We tried playing players out of position all last season and it failed. Why would we expect this season to be any different. It's a fcuking mess

            Our only LWB isn't fit.

            Kodua isn't really a RWB

Fuck knows what Fanne's proper position is?

            Yes, it's a fucking mess.

Huge wages and can't swap positions?
              That's feckin atrocious!
