Im not saying taking the knee has worked - but my point was really that many people are saying that it should be got rid of and move on. But this prices that too many people can't move on from outdated racist attitudes. You could argue that we need to do more, not less.

There will always be idiots in the crowds. Must you really halt a game if ONE person shouts something racist? Racist chants, fine, then stop the game and clear that whole section, but one single person?

No, it's crazy, report it and get on with it.

As much as I despise racism this sort of overreaction is alienating a lot of people. It probably shouldn't but it is, effectively losing the battle.
