I thank you for your support regularly because without you Hatters' Heritage would not exist. As a charity we rely on your support and a few years ago when we were facing troubling times, you kindly came to the rescue. The fund raising never ends but we are on a stable footing now which is highlighted by our recent purchase of a nice bit of memorabilia - a miniature straw boater, photos attached.
These boaters were worn by Luton fans who travelled to Swansea in 1913 by train - photo attached. See a previous post below for more details of their day out.
Many thanks Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885
If you are interested somewhere in the loft I have a 'we are going up' banner/flag from the game at Carlisle. Glen Rae gave it to my son as we were right at the front.
I'll try and find it and you are welcome to add that to the collection if you like.I'd rather it was in a collection like this.' Live for today, not for tommorow '
Many thanks. Yes please. If you could write the story as well - as short as your post above or longer - maybe of the whole day then that would bring it to life. Give it the provenance too. Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885
Do you ever take in old materials/cuttings? At my Dad's and he has a few scrapbooks he always seesaws about moving on (but never does). Loads of cuttings from what seems like 68-72 (when he met my Mum and stopped cutting things out of newspapers).
Do you have an interest in anything like that or too much work?

Let me talk to Dad - might take a while - but it would absolutely be a donation. There are four decent sized books

Thanks, that was a major scrapbook era - I had one for that period too. I'll ask and get back to you - you never know what hidden treasure there might be. Mr J.C. Just spent over an hour going through a few of the handbooks...I can see I'm going to lose a lot of time with all these additions! By the way, the Paypal donate link you gave doesn't work for me, though I think I can donate directly on the HH website, right?
The link is temperamental, sorry. It's worked here and not there. Yes, at the bottom of the homepage there is a donate button. Thank you. Mr J.C.
