Online shop 'notify me when in stock' service

Set up one of these 'notify me' email things as my size of the kit was out of stock initially. Didn't look at the site since as assumed I'd get an email. Looked today out of curiosity - size was in stock and I was able to order. The only email I've received from the club was a confirmation saying they'd email me as soon as it was in stock. Yes, I checked the junk folder. These are the sort of small, shit things that really annoy me about the club. Get it right so you can actually sell more shirts.
As I have posted previously, I'm still waiting for a reply to a "notify me" from last October - I never checked back as I just assumed that they weren't in stock.
To be fair to the new man, he does seem to be starting to turn things round having been dealt a shit hand by his predecessor.
The thing I find annoying is that they don't need to offer the 'notify me' option if they don't want to do it. It's a nice extra but I would have been happy to keep checking back every few days. But to have the service, send the confirmation email and then do nothing when new stock turns up is just unnecessarily irritating.
As I wander through the underneath of the main stand and the stench of piss fills my nostrils , wash my hands in cold water, then buy a bottle of water with a 1200% mark up, before heading to my seat that has a combination of water , dirt and bird shit on, then unlocking my phone that is now a brick due to a lack of signal / wifi , I do think these guys really care….. Truth seeker / snide
Oh sorry. I apologise. The club shop is amazing. We're so lucky to have such a well run organisation as part of our wonderful football club. Customer satisfaction is of the up most importance. The amount of choice and stock they have is truly a joy to behold.
Do you have bipolar? Only everything you say is either ultra critical or hyper fantastic. No happy medium or balance with you, or the ability to see things fromm more than one perspective with you, is there.
