We likely won’t win them anyway. The arena seemed empty today and rather quiet, everyone is playing reserve players. I’m not very upset about us being knocked out.

Neither am I. Saw it as a chance for some to show what they could do. I’d describe it as disappointing. Strength would be to learn, recruit and get rid to build a stronger squad.

The league cup in particular has lost a lot of status. As you say a competition for fringe players or a chance to improve fitness.
