And, anyway, maybe some people have offered to help the club
Surely anyone showing concern is simply pointing out that we must be going all out for promotion and that we don’t want to be floundering in this league or lower when PC opens.
99.99% fans would likely be more than happy with being a stable Championship club in the years to come
This is a weak L1 this season, we won’t have a better chance to go back up.
Transfer business has been mostly excellent.
Most are very positive.

But people are moaning before the event.
I'd completely get it if we're ten games in and our strikers aren't scoring and we're no where near the top of the league.
I just don't know who people expect us to be signing. Yates, Wells, Naismith, Alli, Keeley and Saville are all absolute quality at this level.

Fans giving opinions on signings shocker
I was really pleased with the Saville signing - and then he played like he did on Friday (yes, I know, it's only one game and I'm not writing him off)
Alli - jury's still out for me. I'm very hopeful he will turn out to be a great signing but he looked lost on Friday until he moved to wing-back
Defensively, we won't concede many. I just remain unconvinced about creativity and goals. Yates arriving has raised hopes on that but one player can't do it all. And he's not ready to play yet, is he?

But people haven't been giving opinions on the quality of the signings we've made (Unless they're a League two player no one has ever seen play). They've just been banging on about how we didn't spend enough money on them.

I was answering your point about the list of players we have brought in, which I don't completely disagree with. There are some, in theory, good signings
On that point you've just made, well, it is a bit odd that with all the income from parachute payments and the not-insignificant fees we have brought in on sales (which is a good thing, of course. Bravo the club for having a bit of re-sale value on the books), that we're still (appearing to be) largely bargain hunting
That worked on the way up but now we've plummeted - but plummeted with a couple of quid in the bank - I thought we might go for a different strategy
But, as I say, I wonder if a lot more money has had to go towards PC then was first thought. Again, no problem if that is the case. But it'd be nice to know
