It feels like in the last 6 months he’s stepped it up a notch.

I'd be surprised if anyone is willing to pay us more than we shelled out based on his very limited contributions for us last season.

Unless he has a similar release clause in his contract to Aasgaard... But Bloomfield said that was a one off.

You would hope not given our weak spot is midfield and our 2 remaining sick notes are midfielders. Also, didn't Bloomfield recently say Fanne will be a big player for us this season so surely he would not be supportive of a sale?

Agree, hopefully he’ll stay. He offers something different - a bit more athleticism - than the trio we saw on Friday. I can see him replacing Walsh on Saturday if he stays.
(I’m not anti-Walsh, but him and Clark shouldn’t both start.)

I have maintained for some time it should be a case of Clark or Walsh. I think Walsh is the better player but Clark is more likely to chip in with goals. Although, I am a little concerned that Clark's legs are going

Yep, I’d agree with all that! I can see Clark being slowly edged to the bench this season to become an impact sub.

Expecting a lot from him this season. Hope he stays and gets a good run in the team.

I wouldn’t rely on Baptiste playing 46 games. Nor Clark or Saville for that matter. Fanne was sacrificed a lot last season because of his age and the need for more experienced players. He never got a good run of games which all players need.

I can’t recall seeing any comment on here about Savilles ‘performance’ last Friday, but he was so bad it was like he was completely new to the game. Early days and all that, but he looked like a real dud. Hoping it was just debut nerves at the home of football, not all players can deal with it 😂

And Walsh, Odoffin can also play midfield. Maybe the rumour has some legs, probably agent at work, who knows

Makes you wonder why so many bigger and better clubs are supposedly interested in him. Big Joe possibly had you in mind

If Cov want to pay £5m + Jack Rudoni it would be worth it. Otherwise keep him. He’s on a 4 .5yr contract and cost £3m to £5 m

It would be more like we give them £5M plus Fanne for Rudoni.
And even that probably wouldn’t be enough!

Think Walsh and Clark can play together. I see Walsh as 5 or 6 iron. Laying up with accuracy.

Clark is more of a pitching wedge into the green and rolls in the odd putt.

Walsh deeper lying than Clark, Clark more likely to score IMHO.

If they wanna go we hardly keep him , probably worth keeping pelle here to keep the squad happy in L1 as doubt fanny want to be in a ps poor league
