I like the original Superman, Batman and Spiderman films. However I think Marvel and DC now treat it as a cash cow, even doing movies across three different universes using different actors for the same character.

The only movie series I really like in the recent history is rhe Batman Dark Knight trilogy. Those where really well done and acting wad superb.

Other than that, I'm purely a Star Wars fan. Don't like a majority of the recent shite but the originals I love, as it reminds me of when I was a lad,

Some of the newer star wars is utter shite.
The likes of Andor, Rogue One and the Mandalorion are quality though.
Not a massively popular opinion but I really liked Rise of Skywalker and Force Awakens aswell.
You're right though, the originals are on a different level.
