Maybe, but he looks class at L2 level, quick and powerful/good in the air. Be surprised if MB who knows him very well, is not seeing him playing this season.

Looks like Nordas maybe on his way and I wouldn’t be surprised if Brown is signed by a champs club over next few weeks.

Sounds like the profile of signing we used to make.
I’m all for it. Never works out when we spend a shit tonne of money on a player.

Perhaps the club should employ someone that knows what they're doing then?

              Except when we signed Elstrup.

He'll offer pace and power, which was missing last night.

I think I read he has 12 goals in 90 games.
Amazing how many forwards have poor goal returns.

Because there's more toa forward's game than simply scoring.

Yes there is but 12 in 90, is not a good return however you look at it.
                    I could score 6 in 90 and I'm drawing a pension!
Scoring goals has to be the prime skill of a centre forward.

Makosso was one for the future, for about a month or so, then the future had arrived.

Great point. IIRC Curtis Davis was “filling in” until we all realised he was so good.

Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885

                      Davies was different class.

I believe Wimbledon released Curtis before John Moore rescued him.

Yep, they wanted their back line to get it forward quickly. Davies preferred to work the ball or progress. Didn't fit into the way they played. Not surprising JM spotted him.....a man who could identify a player.

I suspect they often say that to take the pressure off a little.
