I’d forgotten how different the games is at league one level. The Wombles tried to bully us, waste time and had no intention of going for the win. We looked like a new team, lots of miss placed passes, had problems finding our men and created hardly any scoring chances.
On the plus side we got 3 points. I liked the look of Nelson when he came on and hope he’s given more minutes. Walters for me was my MOTM with his running and energy. A lot of room for improvement which I think will come. Certainly a lot of work needed on the training ground.

Bully us and waste time? How is that different from most games in any league we play in?

We were rubbish tonight. I am hoping more additions and time will see a team emerge from this crud.
