Just can’t believe the club are still piss farting around and with 5 days till the start of the season we haven’t got what everyone knows we need a striker , another 3 million in the coffers today from doughty sale to add to 5 or 6 million we have all ready got from sales and 40 plus million from parachute payments , we have spent 1 million I reckon on players in ,how can people bury there fuckin head in the sand and say nothing about this situation it’s fuckin ridiculous, ok we got Wells in and a good player but he is 35 years of age for fucks sake he’s not going to get us out of league 1 , all this shit from Sweet and the board about not making the same mistakes as before are bullshit they have over 50 million in since the end of last season, stop the bullshit it’s time to spend and get a experienced striker in surely they can afford to .

The club's ONLY strategy is Power Court. Even if there is no team or fans to fill it. Sweet sees it as his legacy and clearly has a lot invested in it.
Absolutely agree Alfie, I had not realised the problem until I saw your post. Hopefully the board read this forum and it might jog them into action. Have you any recommendations for them to sign?
No recommendations but surely with over 50 million in the bank they can afford to buy a decent experienced striker , the money is going somewhere but I can guarantee you it’s not all going to the new stadium as most people are lead to believe.
