There are many legitimate reasons why some information is withheld, but the Luton News Twitter farce today gives the distinct impression (true or otherwise) that the main motivation is control - controlling the ‘narrative’ at all costs no matter how counterproductive it is and how ridiculous it looks. It’s quite frustrating to see the club (or maybe a certain individual) do this.

True but if he's restricted or refused access, that will not end well for the club. Mike would probably get shed loads of clicks from writing negative articles. He'd have nothing to lose at that point and, so, would feel very free to make a lot of mischief
