Nathan Lowe - doesn’t seem to be our day

Stockport are the favourites to secure, Huddersfield also keen, only available on loan.

On the positive we seem to have signed Dodgson after Stockport thought they had secured a deal.

Tomorrow should be another interesting day.

Dodgson is a good addition but with Lowe and Kelman gone it places huge pressure on securing Al Hamadi.

Are they the only 3 strikers in the whole wide World or the only 3 in your football manager team?

I don’t think there’s any way Al Hamidi will drop to L1.

Hope they’ve got someone else lined up.

          Yes, fully agree.

And we need two strikers so hoping this is all very much in hand.

*you think we need two strikers

I don’t think so. Alli scores around 15 goals last season. Wells 10. Brown isn’t that far off. We have Nordas, too. One statement signing will do the job.

Stockport? Fuck sake, we aren’t even the biggest Hatters now.

I thought our approach to loans was only with an option to buy. That might rule him out for us.

That’s worked out well for us in the recent past hasn’t it. If we hadn’t signed Nakamba on loan it’s highly unlikely we’d have reached the premier league, need to flexible. I’m just glad there was no agreement to buy Josh Bowler as part of his loan.

Possibly. But given how poor our striking options are, and having sent Harris out on loan with no replacement, maybe an exception could have been in order here if that’s the justification.

Can't argue with that! Looks like it's the Nordas Express for us .

I still think he can come good mind.

Suspect Geography may play a part as Lowe is only 19.

Stoke may want to keep him close ready for January recall etc.

Who, or what is a Dodgson please ? Is it like a poor man's Dyson ? Al Hamadi, that's a resort in Tunisia I believe. All of this is like scrabbling around in the Pound shop, all totally avoidable, and completely unnecessary, and still the same old faces presiding over the mess !

Thanks for the link to Owen Dodgson. So he has never played a league game for Burnley, and just 64 games on loan to four or five different teams, who mainly seem to have struggled in recent seasons. I am really sorry, but this possible signing is just another sad reminder of how badly our club has been run over the last eighteen months to two years.

In all fairness, this could have nothing to do with our club and just Cuba confusing his latest game on Football Manager with reality again.

While true he was very highly rated in his loan spell at Burton last season.

I think he joined in January and they turned their form round and stayed up as a result.

You don’t start at United and then join Burnley if you don’t have some serious talent.

Do we need a replacement lb or lwb or do we play what we have
