    Alfie to Wall

Thought he’d do better than that

Millwall is a very poor choice for him IMO. I also think his weight gain and apparent lack of professionalism has cost him a move to a bigger club.

Still, he played his part in our promotion to the PL and for rhe most part ran his socks off in the PL aswell, so good luck to him.

        He’s a millwall fan, isn’t he?

If they’re bid 5 mill, and no one else has, that probably decent business all round, as long as we get a replacement (which we’ve needed for a year).

£5M is a robbery if that's what they, or anyone else has offered. We should be looking £7m minimum.

My main concern is McGuinness not featuring at all yesterday, and not being seen as a worthy captain. Suggests he might also be leaving.

He'd be a huge loss IMO. He really atepped up towards the end of last season after a bit of a dodgy start.
Didn't the club say he'd gone home from the trip abroad as he was 'ill'? If that was the case, you'd expect him to have recovered by now.

Bloomfield said after the match that mcGuinness had been sent home from Croatia with a virus, and that he had just recovered but hadn’t trained, which was why he wasn’t playing yesterday, but that he was in the squad just to be around the team.

Maybe decent clubs saw an overweight and underperforming player in the last third of the season.
