    On a more positive note..

Good signs that Keeley is gonna be an excellent keeper for us. Team mate with Kelman last season , great if we can get him too.
Thought he commanded his box well, and his distribution was superb today.
Perhaps he can take corners, now Doughty has gone?!

      Doughty to Millwall

All new signings are looking a step up from last year! Just need the forward in and we are in great shape, saying that if Alfie is off (which seems highly likley after the mixed messages today) then we are back to last summer also needing a LWB.

MB is getting a good grip of it overall and the football is a lot better on the eye.

Thought we looked very threatening on the break against much tougher opposition than we'll be facing this season. We won't be coming up against Micky van de Ven in Div 3. Saville and Baptiste were solid, just need to sort out the forwards, although I think NW will score at this level.

I’m not sure we’ll be playing on the break very often this season, more like breaking down a low block which we’ve not been good at for ages.

Good point...even more reason we need to sort the striker situation

Yep agree, we were playing top levels today in that Spurs side. I think we can see the potential challenge this year with Ali being the real forward with pace in the side, like Alfie was last year. NW will be a great goal scorer, but we need pace alongside that. I can see today why we'd maybe be going in for the lad from Aberdeen.

Kelman is reportedly on the verge of signing for Charlton.

And there in lies the true cost of relegation.
We would've got him easy otherwise...

West Brom debacle is still haunting me

Quite! Given the choice players will choose the Championship over league one.

                  Saville didn't

Saville was soon to become a free agent. We offered him a better deal. I’m guessing Millwall offer wasn’t a good one which I’m suspect is due to his age and the fact Millwall are strengthening.
Morris, Kaminski,Aasgaard, Burke and now possibly Doherty no longer wish to play league one football.
