We were playing a PL club who are also European champions. Drawing a blank is not exactly a disaster against that level of opposition.
I would like to see at least one more striker but don't understand your logic.

Just buy someone FFS. We are the same team from 5 years ago. We have had massive success and failure , our poor judgment in adapting to relegation and spending will cost us again and again unfortunately. And whilst there is no guarantee a striker costing wedge will help it's sure won't likely do any harm
