I wonder if it's minor surgery to his heart. The club would obviously be incredibly thorough and across this.
I know Connor Gallagher had a few months out for minor heart surgery to correct a slightly irregular rhythm.
I also have a flutter - but given I'm not a professional sportsman haven't needed anything done.

From Bloomfield’s quotes doesn’t sound serious. Sounds like an internal organ issue from the story on the website. Out for a couple of months. Seems like the club were fully aware, went into it with eyes wide open. Seems like the issue was taken into account with wages / signing on fee too.

Hope the lad makes full recovery and ends up playing in our first 11 soon.
Note his former club Rotherham offered him another deal so assuming nothing too bad.

Rotherham probably weren’t aware of the issue as was only picked up on the MRI at the medical. Clearly we wouldn’t have signed him if it was serious / career threatening though. The club aren’t that stupid!
