MB has alluded to the fact we may not have everyone in place until the end of the window. If nothings happened by the August bank holiday weekend; you can rightly have a flap then....
So you're saying just make any old signing just to cover the first 5 or 6 games...when we most likely have an 80% chance of landing our target player if we wait until August??
People talk about bringing in PL loans but clubs tend to hang onto this sort of player until they have brought in what they need which, unfortunately, tends to be towards the end of August.
Transfer window is a month after the season so the squad will change through the first few games even. If Doughty leaves for £3million on August 28th the whole picture changes again. Shit but thems the rules.
I think counting two of them as recognised is pushing it a bit! I would think that as Harris has been sent out on loan there will be some movement on this front
