The fact he's gone to a 4th division club shows he's a decent player. The majority of our younger lads have gone to conference/conference south clubs in the last 10 years. Good luck to him.
He's more of wide forward/winger innit? Which we may not be using so much, just yet, with MB seeming to fancy overloading the centre of midfield.
Given time to sort out a couple of actual full-backs and which two centre-halves can actually play as a pair he comes back in having played first team football and that.
