Surprised people aren't a bit more excited about this rumour. Given the choice, I'd pick him over Al Hamadi. Looked mustard at Orient last season.
QPR turned down a bid of 5 mill for him from MLS, but he only has a year left on his contract, so can't imagine he'd go for much more than that.

I know very little about the lad but his record at Orient speaks volumes.
I'd guess no one is getting excited because the rumours of Kone, the Stoke lad, Aberdeen lad, Ipswich lad have come to nothing. Going off social media posts, the general feeling is Sweet etc won't sanction a big money move for any player.
I really do hope they prove the doubters(me included) wrong. Doing it on the cheap hasn't worked for 2 years, not confident a 3rd will reap any rewards.

He's not a big physical presence though like Al Hamadi and Lowe, the other player we've been linked with.
Given the way we have set up this season with two players behind a lone striker Al Hamadi and Lowe seem to fit that profile better.

At Walsall Lowe mostly played with Jamille Matt - big physical target man striker. So despite his height, maybe Lowe isn’t that type of player yet.

I've had a look on the Loft For Words message board and although there is talk of a bid from Charlotte FC for Kelman, there is no suggestion of what the bid was or that it was turned down.
The figure of £5 million has been speculated as to what they might get for him, but equally, others are saying that with 12 months left on his contract, £2.5 - £3 million would be more realistic.
