Not expecting a strong Spurs squad as they are flying to Hong Kong to play Arsenal a couple days later.

Apparently, their 'first team squad' will be spread such that they all play about 65mins across two games, against us and against Wycombe at Hotspur Way (11am KO)

No, I don't know if that means that some players will do half hour of each.

Agreed. Went to one pre season friendly ironically against Spurs. Mid 90s truly awful and dire.

Can you summarise why it was so bad? Poor ownership? Bad luck with managers?

At the time, I had a young family with health issues so only got to the odd token game from 1994-2001. Sounds like it was a good period to miss, although not as bad as the declines in the early 60s and the Jayten era.

There was a friendly before the 2001/02 promotion season v Spurs (think I am right on that), it was OK as friendlies go.

They played a ‘friendly’ against Leeds and won easily 4-2 back the day.
Oh it remember that one very very well!

Refereed by Grant Hegley who also refereed our first home league game of the season against Cheltenham (he sent Kevin Nicholls off). He gave Spurs a very dubious late penalty for a "foul" well outside the area.

Crowd was just over 9k which was almost a sell-out then.

Not sure getting worried that it's not sold out is top of our list!

Oh yeah not bothered at all, personally.

People had more spare cash back then.

Could have marketed it as the David Pleat derby?

Are spurs reciprocating and inviting Watford?

Nordas hat trick incoming 😉. Promptly sold to spuds for £60m and lauded as the new Harry Kane. I wake up and it's wombles at home with Nordas starting.

              On hols myself.

Haven't been to a PSF since Manure xi in 2009, waste of time. Ajax in 2004 was good, took a fit Greek bird with me, seeing the police beating the living daylights out of their fans on inkerman street was entertaining.
