Problem for Luton Hoo golf hotel spa

I was sad to learn that Luton Hoo is closing for 3 years to undergo huge renovation works, and the addition of a new course around the lake. Sad for all the workers who have been made redundant and also for the Sea Cadets camp that been there nearly 100 years and my dad attended as a boy and my son used recently. (I presuming that will be demolished). However after reading the England golf email this morning, it claims that the 2031 Ryder cup has been awarded to Spain 🇪🇸. We were told that the main reason for the works at Luton Hoo was to host that Ryder cup. Will this put a stop to the work? A worker at the golf club told me that the course has been designed by Gary Player and Justin Rose which wouldn’t have been cheap. Anyone have any information on if this will proceed and are they going to keep the Sea cadets camp?
