a)good signing - already a "decent" keeper and plenty of time to get better b) We still need a good number 2 c) I do think that we have overlooked the goalkeeping position in recent years. Perhaps the Sluga signing put us off but seemed to have gone awry - for example why have an on loan keeper like Horvath who helped us get promoted and then bin him off? I have made my views a few times on Kaminsky but suffice to say I think he has cost us a good few points last season. Hopefully Keeley will turn a corner for us in that position
I suppose that Walton might be sold. Not sure he'll want to be sub after a season in the Scots Prem (although Dundee U benched him for the last 3-4 games last season due to poor form).
Considering that in all probability none of us have ever seen him play this feels like a big one for some reason. COYH!--------------- Make burgers wider, not taller
With additions like this and likely whoever the striker will be, I just wonder if one or two who may have been looking for a move may have some second thoughts. Winning the league and playing a major part in that after two successive relegations must be attractive particularly when still on good wages.
Exactly this. If it’s true - as seems widely reported on both transfers - that Kaminski went for £1m and Keeley cost the same, that’s at least potentially excellent business. Announce Rowe and/or Al-Habidi by 3pm and I’ll spend a fiver on the Gillingham stream…
Another one to come this weekend. Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885
