          White and blue or white and black. I really dislike orange, personally, and hate the sidelining of the white shirt. Hope the rumours are false re not having white at all this year.

              Our new orange strip was an eye-catcher in the 70s. When the players came out at Newcastle for the 1973 FA Cup game a Geordie behind me quipped 'they look like fookin liquorice allsorts'. Which was ironic, considering their black and white stripes!

              Anyway, John Aston scored twice in a memorable win.
