Ian Olney of previously of Aston Villa, born in Luton.
UK Decay far from being “the worse punk band of all time” are actually highly revered, as pioneers of post-punk and the originators of Goth. Abbo also currently manages Mercury Rev and, er, Aled Jones. He was at the match yesterday.
Colin Salmon, of course, is now starring in Eastenders.

Ian Davison, fast bowler for Nottinghamshire 1959 to 1966. His parents dad a shop in Dallow Road, one of the few that opened on Sundays back then. His father Joe, had been a professional footballer with Middlesbrough, Portsmouth and Watford.

I was a wizard on the redgras behind Cedars Upper School in Leighton Buzzard back in the day though that was about the limit of my football prowess. And I did copycat Marco van Basten’s goal in Munich down there one late spring evening back in 1989 but that was about as good as it got.

There is a former Grammar School boy who did a great deal of work making computers available to all (Alex Somebody). Far mot of a contributor to society than drug dealers and criminals.
