Matt Ritchie from Portsmouth? Seems to fit our current approach of old and young. This one being old at 35 but a hugely experienced and influential player. Another leader. Of course he's free too.

If true, for me it would be another disappointing addition, clearly showing a distinct lack of ambition. I think most supporters would consider the six new incumbents wise recruitment, a mixture of youthful enthusiasm allied to experienced and mature quality and leadership. We have enough journeyman on the books as it is - just give me a signing I can get excited about - and not necessarily spending a huge amount of money.

Like who? Don't need a name but what type of signing, that would sign for Luton in League One without breaking the salary structure and risking pissing off the rest of the players would you get excited about?
