Injury and illness

Sounds like it’s been a positive week.
McGuinness has gone home due to sickness and sounds like he took a bunch of the squad with him! Fanne is also out today due to injury - never stops does it. Struggle to see how a bunch of the squad can go down so easily in mid summer. Conspiracy theorists at the ready!
As a result, Alex Lawless and NINE U21 players have flown out to Slovenia to complement the group for what will be a 120 minute game across four quarters. Some players will only do 30 minutes rather than an expected 60 minutes (Zack Nelson).
Normally that would be full on panic mode that sort of contingency, but feels pre-planned to have that level of support coming in.

McGuiness has been signed by Bayern Munich mate, the sickness thing is just a cover story to stop a full on Gurney-esque style riot back here in blightyoutlaws is not the barometer of sanity.
