Because we have a medical team with an unrivalled history of treating pulled hamstrings and it would be a shame to waste their skills

I’m pretty sure Pelly had dodgy hamstrings early on his career here, and he turned out ok.

Fingers crossed.

Fitness levels and the injury situation did seem to begin improving eventually once MB got to grips with the situation.

General finess was a massive issue to begin with I think.

I trust the pre-season this year will be an order of magnitude better in terms of this than it was this time last year.

Agreed plus Bloomfield was more wary of chucking players in as soon as they were available after injury. Tended to ease them in off the bench, so less of the immediate re-injury scenarios.
