Woodrow and Nordås are the strike partnership that will put the fear of God into every L1 defence.
Didn't you know that?

Happy with this move 100% Those long thin legs of his, quite often would be over stretched, and ping his hammy would go, regular as clockwork.
We are rebuilding and cannot afford passengers anymore, good luck to him at Charlton, think, he will have to be wrapped in cotton wool

FFS.
I thought that maybe, just maybe, the signs of improvement we saw in terms of overall fitness at the tail end of the season could have helped Burke regain fitness and he would be a big part of the season to come.
But no. Another one through the feckin exit door.

Luton Athletic strike again. Liked Burke. Gave 100% when fit and was a key player in our play off final win.
Good luck!

Yeah and it all goes back to Hull as a sell fee

No it doesn't he was signed as a free agent you always have to put a negative spin on it.

Whoosh, you thought the 12m was serious?

He will probably play 46 games now.
Great player but injured far too much for us.
Both parties need a new start.

Guaranteed to play 250 games for them, very decent player, will be a loss compared to some of the other crap we still need to punt out the door.
Charlton are doomed.

Feels like we're to Charlton what Barnsley was to us.

Always baffled me that someone who seemed to break down after 6 games , wasn’t rested completely after 5 , obviously not an exact science but might have been worth a shot.
Kept Gyokeres quiet at Wembley who is just about to join Arsenal for approx £50m Truth seeker / snide

What impressed me was that he was able to come back firing on all cylinders after a lay-off. One of those special players who just seemed to be able to shrug it off and perform straight away.
Then again, he did have a lot of practise.

And one of the few who appeared to really care. Having said that, we can't complain about carrying too many sick notes and then complain when we offload one of them. Good luck to him

Yeah shame to see quality leave but we do need more players that are robust and available for majority of games Truth seeker / snide

Yep, rare to see universal agreement that Burke, while quality, couldn’t reliably get through a season. McGuinness and Christ look far more durable.

A fully fit Reece Burke is Premier League quality IMHO. If he stays fit he's a great signing for them.

Totally agree with the sentiment shown by most. Arguably our best defender when fit, but missed too many games through injury

Great player, wish him well. On a positive note, I’d say that Christ is not going anywhere if we’re letting Burke go. Going forward Christ seems like such a promising player and hopefully relatively injury free

Great player when fit. Not forgetting that he came on for TL at Wembley after only 10 mins.. and did a great job that day 🥰

I found it baffling that we kept playing him at wing-back towards the end. Hardly the best position for an injury prone player.
