Taylor we know can.
We must find two “finishers” ourselves.
For value I still say Cheek is worth a punt.
He is also extremely good defensively, something we will miss with Morris gone.

Not denying we need a new striker.
But was hoping our data led approach to signings might dig up someone a bit more long term than a soon to be 34 year old who has never played above League Two.

Let’s give him his deserved credit.
In his first season in the EFL, League 2 player of the season, 20+ goals in a team playing at that level for the first time.
The fact Stevenage are after him doesn’t surprise me at all.
If we did really bid £6m for Kone.
£100k for Cheek is a complete no brainer.
Don’t forget Bloomfield played with another veteran striker in Akinfenwa, such players work in Divs 3 and 4.

Yes, he has been a pretty unlucky in that respect but has kept himself very fit so has a few good seasons left in him.
4.5 years younger than Jamie Vardy who most would welcome, despite his age!
Whoever gets Cheek will have made a shrewd decision.

You have a very poor track record when it comes to your previous striker suggestions.
Is it a matter of just suggesting loads and hope one is good so you can take the credit?
