I wonder if the sheer weight of negativity online is putting off some potential players...just a thought“Grief, I've learned, is really just love with no place to go"
I'm not saying that it's only that, it's another factor though (and could be agent chatter)“Grief, I've learned, is really just love with no place to go"
Haven't read the article but also bear in mind that players might choose other clubs over us because their first team appearances could well be limited here but almost guaranteed at a tinpot* club like Lincoln.
* hopefully those words won't come back to haunt me!Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
Teams like sunderland ( 5 ) Ipswich ( 2 ) derby ( 2 ) shef we’d etc have dominated this division in the last ten years and have failed many times of course.
Losing them two has made this division easier than last year at least and In decades if you add that lot above.
I'm in agreement with you MG. Anyone thinking we 'will piss this league' are in for major disappointment.
This division will be a lot tougher than people expect and we will be going into it on a downer rather than an upper like last time we were in this division.
1) we don’t know if reports of our interest are true or not. 2) if he’d pick Lincoln over Luton he lacks ambition 3) If he lacks ambition he’s not for us and he can FRO.
Good, it would have been an undisclosed fee so that's saved us from toys flying out of the pram and a crayon written letter being posted to GS. Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885
