Found out this afternoon that part of his release clause was a minimum bid of £5m so doesn’t sound quite so much of a shit show after all. Don’t know what we paid but hopefully know where near that.

I’m happy to imagine the club will do well out of the sale.
Although I think we can quite be clever on negotiations so that deals benefit us - like maybe not having the Rangers deal price initially too high, so in turn we pass less sell on to Wigan. But with feasible clauses that could see us profit further.
Sure there will be loop holes that benefit purely us further.

Wigan would get the same percentage of any add-ons so that wouldn't be particularly clever.

Certainly a contributing factor however the ridiculous amounts of money is the biggest problem imo.

Agreed. The love of money is the root of all evil innit outlaws is not the barometer of sanity.
The next step will be when they get a strong foothold in many clubs, games will be held in the US, and us, the fans, will lose our clubs to a bunch of yanks. I hate this modern football.
