    Burke for Charlton?

Posted by Earls on 6/7/2025, 17:17:50

Apologies if iceberg, but Luton Today say there are rumours of Burke joining the Charlton knitting circle.
If we’re playing a back-four, McGuinness and Makosso is a hell of a partnership for League 1. We all know Burke’s injury record, so it’d be a pisser if Jones somehow kept him fit for 40 games.

Give him a 12 month contract, with a clause that says he has to be available for a minimum of 20 games between now and 31st December or we part ways.

Probably impossible to enforce but surely clu s can cover themselves from players that take the piss.

He's our best defender but made of glass and we can't afford passengers. If Charlton are happy to take that risk, good luck to them

Really? Is he better than Makosso or MacGuinness.
