Interview with Bloomfield - Goalkeeping Situation.
Posted by Letchworth Hatter on 6/7/2025, 10:12:15
That weird reporter Ian Abrahams, or Moose as he likes to call himself, was at the game yesterday.
Hopefully the link to his interview with Bloomfield is below if not you can find it on his X account.
Seems fairly clear that we are in the market for goalkeepers and Walton is far from guaranteed to be our number one, or even stay.
Bloomfield also honest about the fact that our transfer business is unlikely to be done by AFC Wimbledon.
'Moose' also took a few photos. Good one of Henri Lansbury alongside Clark, Saville and Naismith. I think those three are going to be massive for us this season.
Having watched yesterday, as much as I love Shea, I was reminded how average his distribution is. If we want to dominate teams in league 1 we need a keeper who can play out from the back
Re: Interview with Bloomfield - Goalkeeping Situation.
Literally nothing in that interview to suggest Walton is going anywhere. Of course we are in the market for a keeper, we only have 2 and one of those (krul) needs shifting.
