He was the ONE bright spark in a bloody awful season and he's off. Can it get any worse?

There were a couple of others, Alli (who might be off if the rumours are correct, and Makosso. It's a dire state of affairs.
Unfair. But we are at the start of July. Let’s stay cool people.
Having this “I know more than you” BS is also insulting the intelligence of other supporters.
We have been in pre-season training for 9 days now and no one has joined in that time. I’m surprised. Concerned that we will head to Slovenia with only half a first team squad. (What’s the point?)
If however in 4 weeks time we have a significant rebuild squad still to do, people are very right to criticise the clubs decisions. But we are not at that stage yet.
The club do need to start pulling their finger out, show some aggression in the transfer market and execute some deals.
If necessary put their hands in their own pockets rather than relying on parachute payments. No one has put money into the operational side of the club since the start of COVID which was forced. (How many sets of supporters would be a fan of that?)
July is when teams really start to motor recruitment wise. Birmingham I believe last season had signed 1 player by the equivalent date.
But if by this time next week we've lost Aarsgaard or Alli and not bought in replacements , no amount of short, sock, sleeve or shin pad sponsoring will stop the tirade of abuse 2020 and all concerned will receive.

And as if by magic the ultimate happy clapper pops up with his tired sanctimonious routine

Crumps, in all fairness what he says is pretty much correct. We will be left picking through the dregs of what is left as usual.
As mentioned, everyone has the right to be angry. It has been a shitshow since we reached the PL mid season. Yes, 2020 have done massive things for this club but they have also fucked immense massively.
I said before we would be lucky to get back to the PL in 10 years. If they pull their finger out and start showing some intent it may get better, but they don't see to have a clue at the moment.
Genuine question, are 2020 and the CEO really capable of running a club at the top level?'LTFC will be having an aggressive replica kit window in January'
You are, of course correct about the club not doing transfers publicly. Personally I'm happy to bide time before making judgement on this transfer window. So far so good for me. Aasgaard going is a huge blow though (if true, probs is)
The lad from Stoke would be a huge show of intent if it happens.
Having a dig at thise with concerns after 18 months of complete shit show isn't a good look though mate. If we make the changes needed, by all means call them out then but at the moment there's no huge positives regards our squad.

I'm calling a couple of cunts out for being cunts mate.
No problem at all with people having concerns after 18 months of complete shit show, they're quite right to have those concerns. I've got them too but don't turn that into the utter bollocks those twats do.

Yeah you would think that we would have signings in maybe we have some lined up but are waiting to get rid of these players and bring more money in. If that is the case makes ya wonder where these parachute payments have gone as these are used to cover the wages from relegation.
