Every club knows we’ve received £90 million in parachute payments. Not sure it makes much difference to our negotiating position if they know whether we got £800k, £1M or £1.5M for Kaminski

Telling people how much money you have in the bank is a weak position in a negotiation.
As for agents, they represent the player. Transfer fees are none of their business.
I don’t see why they are not bound by confidentiality, they will not know the structure of the deal and I’m actually not sure why they would know (for a fact) what the transfer fee is anyway. I don’t see any reason that signing on fees abs wages (agents responsibility) would be five knowlege of transfer fee. And if they’re working for the club then they should not be saying.

I agree. I suspect any agent knows exactly the structure of a deal his client is involved in. And will know exactly what is needed to get his client out.

Apparently Charlton have had a policy ofnot disclosing transfer fees Since 2010.
There are very few clubs that disclose fees as a matter of course. The journey leads you to the answers..

As others have said you get an idea of what we have spent on transfers in the accounts.

I think the secretive way we conduct transfer is why people ask questions. Let's just say we sold a player for 10million where is the proof that money went bakc into the club. And before anyone pipes up, I'm not accusing anyone but perhaps this is why some clubs fold because all the money in the club has been spent for something else?
