    Ruell Walters

Doesn't get mentioned on here much, he was a funny one, doesn't fit the usual narrative.

There were a few clubs after him last summer, but Sambi Lokonga recommended us and maybe we offered him a decent deal.

He hadn't played much for Arsenal and I doubt it was the club's intention to put him straight into the first team, but due to the injuries he found himself starting. He did quite well at first, some of us thought we had signed another Mengi.

Mistakes crept in, he was asked to play different positions, he got injured and lost confidence, and he was largely forgotten by the end of the season.

He is one who I hope will come good this season

Can't remember what game it was but he looked like a rabbit caught in headlights and never seemed to recover his reputation thereafter. Shame as he had looked reasonable up until then.

He was very highly rated at Arsenal, they offered him a new contract which he turned down.

I agree in that I think he might come good.

I like him and would give him a chance this season. Opinions differ though

Didn't see much that made me think we have a player, fast but that was about it for me. When Alfie goes we need two decent fb as JJ and Walters are not the answer.

I think our current manager concurs 100%.

He produced one of the funnier moments last year. Got the ball from Kaminski and rather than lump it under pressure he turned back to goal and looked for a teammate. Did it once and soon realised I'm not in the prem at arsenal anymore.

Still developing. Send him out on loan would be the best option for him.

Where do League 1 players go out on loan to, a very unlikely scenario.
Personally not a fan of Walters on previous performance but this is a lower level, we shall see.

Refusing a contract at Arsenal to end up to go on loan in the 4th or 5th division seems an unlikely scenario.

                        The 4th Division?
