Been reading the various threads about transfers etc and one thing I do hope is that when we sell some of the players we put some serious money back into recruiting incoming players.

I really do hope this happens because we need to show intent with regards to transfers. Don't just reap the rewards of sales and chuck 10% of it at new players, we need to be serious from the get go. This is a very important season for us, and we need to get it right.

You have to take into account this monumental fuck up has cost a fortune and will eat up a lot of the last parachute payment, and anyone you sign for decent money will need to be a 3 year deal minimum on decent wages, it’s going to be interesting to see what they can pull out of the bag, but I wouldn’t be too giddy

Just because they cost more doesn't make them better. We paid half a million for Adam Boyd a lot of money then and he was shite. Just a drinking partner for Newell allegedly.

Seems to have been a lot of posts today saying essentially that our transfer strategy this Summer should be to 'sign some good players."
