Will always appreciate the accidentally on purpose tickets priced at £1.50 in Hyde Park which he honoured as valid for entry.outlaws is not the barometer of sanity.
I know you love him, but I saw him at IoW and it was pretty awful. Half the crowd left after 3 songs, I actuly felt bad for him. The journey leads you to the answers..
I sort of understand that. He was a voice that has split people since day one. (Its real) Add to that, he has clearly aged and most of his stuff was not chart type material. So if they didn't know him and weren't willing to listen, then its their choice.
Music is subjective, and I have always been an each to their own person.
I think some artist just don't do it live and sound far better on recordings and I would put him in that category. The journey leads you to the answers..
I fully agree with your first sentence, but can't agree with the second. When he was younger and feeding the Horse, there was nothing like it. Yup. Personally I think he's a fucking genius and absolutely love him but I understand why people wouldn't get him, mainly for the reasons you've mentioned.
