Nostalgia and better things following LTFC

Came across this video clip and it reminded me of having played them (when I went to my first LTFC football match) and how things have progressed for the better over subsequent seasons for us and regressed even more for them

Was up that way about that time.Went to watch them one evening. They hadn’t won for ages but managed a 1.0 win that evening.Think it was v Chester & Derek Draper scored. The crowd such as it was went mad!

It had the feel of Barnstonworth United about it. But even though the crowds were small, they were loyal. It was an excellent watch, thank you for posting it.

A good watch. The definition of supporter loyalty. When you keep returning after 3 years of finishing bottom of the entire football league and have the option of watching top club Leeds up the road. Can’t underestimate the importance of introducing youngsters to their local team. Think that’s the case for most of us.

Watching the groundsman was a reminder of our Sunday morning football where the touchlines very often had huge curves and a few wobbles in them after being done with a hangover !!!
