I still remember the difference in crowd size for the two teams. It was like a home match!

I had a couple of pints outside to let the crowds drift away. When I got to the tube station there were a couple of Scunthorpe fans who'd stayed in the stadium to let the Luton supporters get away, "why do you hate us so much?" said one of them. I was momentarily bemused, then I told them all of our hatred was focused on the EFL and Mawhinney, not Scunthorpe! They felt such fools.....

We got there very early and our compere came onto the pitch and read out our achievements, they showed shots of famous games, internationals, famous fans and the 30 miles to Wembley song on the screens.

Scunny compere came out and just shouted "Iron, Iron."

            Magical day.

If you're Scunthorpe and your lonely clap your hands.
