Some real crackers, but I will start with;
'if I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?'

I'm going back to 505 If it's a seven hour flight or a forty-five minute drive In my imagination, you're waitin' lyin' on your side With your hands between your thighs

Run to the bedroom, In the suitcase on the left You'll find my favorite axe.

You have had songs rattling around my head since you posted this. It has certainly caught the attention of a lot of posters. Plenty ignoring the "line" (me included) and stretching it. Everything we think we are Is everything we ain't
What would you think if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me? Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song And I'll try not to sing out of key
I know, it's four lines, but how can you separate them
*your not you're FCOL. I changed it, then auto correct changed it back before I realised!!!! Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.

Ah,but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.
Afraid not mate in Aussie for a few years around that time. Roy Harper "Nobody's got any Money in the Summer". Was at the Park for the big ones in the 60's Stones, Blind Faith and Humble Pie. Great times.
I did the Stones (brother's future drummer was with the first band on) and Humble Pie (GFR awful!) but gor some reason missed Blind Faith - would have loved to have seen Steve Winwood in action

Always loved the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band: "My pink half of the drainpipe Separates me from you. My pink half of the drainpipe... I may paint it blue." Or the unforgettable: "I wanna" (repeat ad infinitum) "I wanna get you in my tent" ("Tent" repeated ad infinitum) "Where we can both experiment" ("Ment" repeated ad infinitum)...
"Death cab for Cutie" and a few others were also hilarious. Pure anarchy.

Time, he flexes like a whore falls wanking to the floor his trick is you and me, boyOur day will come
Salt throwers were taming the sidewalks with haste Til all of the city was seasoned to taste. What kind of fool would follow signs that were never there.
If you try to knock me, you'll get mocked I'll stir fry you in my wok Your knees'll start shaking and your fingers pop Like a pinch on the neck of Mr. Spock

You look different every time You come from the foam-crested brine It's your skin, shining softly in the moonlight Partly fish, partly porpoise Partly baby sperm whale Am I yours? Are you mine to play with?
...Sea Song, Robert Wyatt. Ending with:
Your madness fits in nicely with my own With my own Your lunacy fits neatly with my own My very own
There’s a bible on the table There’s a bottle on the shelf There’s a woman in the kitchen Cryin’ quietly to herself Down the hallway, in the bedroom He can hear his children wail When all you got is a hammer Everything looks like a nail
I could have been someone Well so could anyone You took my dreams from me When I first found you I kept them with me babe I put them with my own Can't make it all alone I've built my dreams around you
