I really hope he stays look we need a some experience in this League. I feel he has been backed into a corner with the situation at the moment. Pressure is being put on him to.

I hope he makes the right choice i know you cant stop someone playing for there country.but i just hope he stays. Time will tell suppose.

You’re right that Aasgaard has been backed into a corner. I don’t blame him at all for his ambiguous comments on his future - Norway’s manager Stale Solbakken is the dickhead here, not Aasgaard.
I don’t know why Solbakken is being so dismissive about Aasgaard staying at Luton (unless he’s still bitter about us costing him his job at Wolves), but it seems to have ambushed the player and, I wouldn’t be surprised, the club.
I’m not saying the club weren’t expecting bids for Aasgaard this summer, but having his national manager point blank telling him to get out of Luton or else is a curveball.

Yes, I wonder why Solbakken went so strongly in public - I almost wonder if he knows Aasgaard wants out and is trying to make it easier for him.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if Aasgaards agent didn't have a word with Solbakken in regards trying to engineer a move.

That sounds a bit too conspiracy theory, to be honest. Tinfoil doesn’t suit you.

I said yesterday I suspect the public-Ness of this makes me wonder if Aasgaard wants out for whatever reason but there's not much interest so they've had to try drum some up

Norway never qualify for anything anyway. So why Thelo is wetting the bed about playing at a world cup for Norway is beyond me.

If he stays here and bangs in 25 goals from midfield next season, is Solbakken really going to pick someone else? Odegaard and Haaland aside, they're hardly a blessed footballing nation, are they?

I was interested in Luton Today going through Norway’s squad levels. In fairness, apart from a couple of homegrown players, the MLS is about as low-rent as it gets.

I find it amusing that there are so many fans who want him to stay and yet can’t be arsed to spell his name correctly. It’s almost like there is a competition to see how many incorrect versions of his name they can come up with.

I really like the look of him. Strong, skillful and an attacking threat.

That said I fear he will depart.
