Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885

Whilst I wouldn’t swear to this I believe a certain Manchester resident - also of this parish - knows one of the perpetrators pictured there

Kept in the ground for the best part of an hour after the match as the police cleared the surrounding streets. I still remember standing up the back of the stand watching mounted police having running battles in the Moss Side streets in the knowledge that we’d got to get back to the coach

Bastard coppers insisted I walk back to the coaches even though my lift was waiting behind their main stand. Eventually they let me go back but we’d walked a fair way at that point. I walked past the departing team coach as I headed back to the ground.
