    League one poor standard.

Just watching Wycombe and Charlton and it’s a very poor standard of football , if these 2 are supposed to be 2 of the best teams in the division and with Birmingham and Wrexham promoted I genuinely think we should get at least play offs next season and maybe automatic place don’t see why not.

To be fair play offs add a different level of nerves so may not be the best indicator. Our current squad are woefully unequipped for the physicality of the league .

Last time we went up with a diamond formation. Pick the players you feel would suit that in league 1

For no apparent reason I have a suspicion Nordas may prove to be not a complete carthorse. I have no evidece to back this up.

      Waltom/Kaminski/Shea
      Waters Mcguinness Mikosso Johnson
      Fanne
      Walsh Clarke
      Assguard
      Morris Alli

Not sure how you fit Jones into that. And no chance that line up starts. Best I can do for now.

Not sure that it's fair to judge the league based on a play-off game. Wycombe were back to their old selves: percentage football time-wasting, zero shots on target. Difficult to get any fluidity when they are constantly breaking up play. The equivalent league game a few weeks ago was a much better standard.

Maybe but that was still one of the worst games of football I've seen in a long time. And I've been watching Luton for the last 9 months

Absolutely zero quality and if that's top 6 quality in L1, then I might start to get cautiously optimistic

Last season was a bit of a hangover from the PL so I’ll cut the Board a bit of slack. If we don’t make at least play offs next season it will be a monumental cock up

Yeah true. The has barely touched the grass. Lots of head tennis. Wycombe’s keeper just keeps kicking it the full length of the pitch. Just pulled two goods safe off Tbf

I watched the first playoff game too and then I thought the opposite. Both teams in that game had some quality and played far better than Luton has this season. Today’s game was awful though, but I’ve seen both team perform much, much better earlier in the season. And honestly, even if we were up against tonight’s versions of these teams, do you honestly think we’d score?
