Didn’t Gerry Harrison then go on to do the commentary for the football on Anglia TV.😂. Best line from him “He’ll need a motorbike to get to that pass”. After that I always had visions of a bloke in the crowd lifting a Kawasaki 900 on to the pitch following that comment when a pass was over hit.

That Coventry match was the same day as the Hillsborough disaster. When word went around that the match had been held up due to people on the pitch everyone assumed it’d been a punch-up.
