    Great sporting moments

The Rory masters win is right up there. Moments where it looked like he’d lost it only to dig deep and play some unbelievable second shots. Rose played his part too.
If only our players could find that level of fighting spirit and self belief!

Sadly our players are utterly reliant on the other 10 players wearing the shirt.

McIlroy only has to rely upon himself and his own ability, drive and determination.

Rory has been using a sports psychologist to improve his performance. Think we’ve been struggling on the mental side of our game. Players who have previously performed for the club just don’t have the same confidence. The club has a sports science and analyst team and I’m not sure how effective they’ve been. This season we have seriously underperformed and the club needs to conduct a thorough investigation at the end of the season to find out why.

I know for a fact we also called in a sports psychologist to improve our performances this season. Not sure when but it was at least 2 months ago.

I was backing Rose but fair play to Rory. Our predicament is a bit like needing 10 birdies at Augusta to force a play off.

This team lacks the fighting spirit we’ve had in previous relegation battles. Like them I’m resigned to league one football.

I'm not convinced it's fighting spirit but I get your point. To me, we just lack quality to create goals and we aren't good enough defensively to nick 0-0's.

I do think the players lack any confidence though which impacts on any quality they may have. Lack of quality on the ball on Saturday was alarming.

I thought we were gone a few months back and then we rallied with a few wins but after Blackburn it's all over

Well they certainly have his ability to get themselves in a decent position and fuck it up

Great effort, but it has done something to his accent.
