Probably the only player we 'let go'* that could have been a positive influence during this seasons fiasco.
*let go because apparently we now had better players

Berry wanted to go, and the manager at the time, probably rightly, felt he wouldn't start much in the championship.
He's gone to play for a far superior manager and started a load of games in League 1keep em peeled

That would be the Manager that hindsight has taught us he couldn't differentiate a good player from a bad one?

That’s him, but he’d been given a 4 year contract by LOADSAMONEY and Berry wanted to go and play which is fair enough at his agekeep em peeled

I didn't understand why Berry wasn't getting more starts in what was a poor team. There are all sorts of rumours about off-field problems affecting RE and other players but Berry ticked all the boxes for the Championship. He should certainly have been in front of some of RE's signings, most of which made us a worse team. Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885

I agree.
I see more reason to have kept Bezza on for another year than Pelly, TBH.
I think he was out of contract, but would have been money better spent than the other midfielders we brought in.
I feel that Edwards always did favour technicality over heart and fight, though.

Yes RE took away what made us successfully as he was flattered by Pep and Klopp's "don't change' comments. He tried to create a mini City but with much poorer players. You saw it yesterday with too many show ponies on the pitch with zero fight, passion, belief, attitude, character, hunger, nouse...etc. Mr J.C. Possibly because he wasn't a RE signing, likewise Pelly?

I think we should have held on to Gabe Osho as well outlaws is not the barometer of sanity.

The money we wasted on McGuinness should have been used to keep Osho.

Edwards took all the heart out of this team and replaced it with ”skill”. Not enough skill by far though.
