Who would have thought after the Wembley play off

That two years later we'd be in league 1.
    It defies belief.

        Sarah

Not really it's happened before with other clubs.

When we put city down in 82 they struggled for years.

That Pelly quote "I feel like I completed football."

Makes you wonder if all the players said "yeah bugger it, been there done that, lived the dream, time to relax in the garden"

not at all, we went toe to toe with some of the best teams in the country until injuries struck and the board had it's head so far up it's own arse we didn't even go into the 2nd half of the season with a full compliment of 25 (injured or not)

              keep em peeled

I actually thought the more telling Pelly quote was almost an unnoticed aside. About 18 months ago on one of the official videos (it may have been the one where they got awarded Premier League balls), right at the end, you hear Pelly say something like "that's if Rob still wants me here". And that made me wonder if there was more going on in the mentality of individuals/the group/the management than we knew.

I thought the most telling quote was Rob Edwards giggling like a school girl in front of the Sky cameras describing the Premier League as like a different sport.
