Questions Fans/board

Has the utter s*** of the last 18 months soured what was built up over the last 10-12 years? Is the old unity repairable? Or has it changed for good? Only dead fish swim with the tide.
With a rational level head, there was always going to be a time when 20/20, the club, and the playing staff were going to struggle. It's impossible to keep the momentum up constantly. So it's definitely repairable IMO. I just don't think people, myself included, thought it would get this bad, this quickly. I hope lessons have been learnt by all parties, including fans.Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
With all due respect this isn't a struggle but a calamity which started at the top. They knew full well we were in trouble in January 2024. Fast forward a year and an awful start to this season, they finally decide to change the manager. I have nothing against MB but he was not the right man for the job IMO and seems to be lost.
Take the signing of Moses for example, why did they make that decision to sign him? He wasn't going to be anothet Ross B. Too many mistakes from everyone and the players should be ashamed aswell.

I suspect we were hoping that he would be another Andros Townsend. A bit of experience in the squad, and a bit of quality to bring off the bench when needed. It hasn't worked out, but I could at least see the logic in terms of replacing someone who had left."Never too high, never too low"
And that is exactly the sort of thing I meant by lessons learnt by fans ie an attempt to understand the reasoning behind some decisions rather than dismiss them simply as being "sh1t" or similar.Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
Do some need to learn not to applaud them off after they’ve put in almost zero effort and even less quality. Or do they need to ask MB why he kept on so many defenders against 10 men. His subs today were bizarre to say the least.
That there are a lot of clubs/fans, with the same dreams/targets/aspirations and most will be disappointed most of the time. That players/directors are fellow humans and don't deserve abuse when trying to do their job.
The vagabond is rapping at your door. Standing in the clothes that you once wore.
Whilst we all get emotional, that's part of being a supporter, but after a few hours it's time to get a bit more perspective, get off whatever bandwagon is on trend, and collectively grow a pair. Realise that there's more to life than football and generally grow up.Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
I’m sorry, but I don’t think the fan base as a whole has any lessons to learn from this season. I think most sensible people thought a season of consolidating in midtable, maybe a play off push if everything went well. This season has been a colossal fcuk up and the fans have zero responsibility for it.
We were rewarded with a performance that somehow managed to plumb new depths.
Just waiting now for one of the players (almost certainly Clark or Morris) to trot out the usual guff about knowing they let us down and vowing to put it right.
